Roma in the picture

12th June 2009 at 01:00

A group of Roma children are taking to the streets of London this month to give out 1,500 free copies of a picture book they have produced which aims to educate other children about their culture and break down the prejudices they face. A group of seven to 14-year-olds used pinhole photography to produce the book (pictured below). It will also be available for teachers to download online, free of charge.
