Safe sanctuary

AN eye-catching fax floated onto The TES newsdesk which demands: "Are you owed money? Do you feel robbed? Are you angry? Enough to send in one of our teams of licensed debt collectors to the debtor's premises?"

Perhaps somebody is touting for business among the 200,000 teachers who put infor the threshold and now, thanks to David Blunkett's little High Court difficulty, could have a year to wait for the cash.

Sadly, however, the fax continues: "We do not break the law." How disappointing that the heavies won't be turning up at Sanctuary Buildings for "a word".
