School business degree course

The UK's first degree in school business management has been launched.

The BA honours degree at Manchester Metropolitan university's institute of education has taken on its first 27 students.

The year-long course, which has been set up in partnership with the National College for School Leadership, is aimed at people who want to be school bursars, senior managers and those working in local education authorities.
