A website by a Hackney school has reached the finals of the British Educational and Communications Technology Agency awards. Judges are yet to decide whether the site of Grasmere Primary will receive a prize. The site, which has been 'live' since March and was created by Mike Roberts, whose son Samuel attends Grasmere, features a newsletter, diary, and drawings and information from pupils. Penny Greenhalgh, the school's headteacher, says:

"The site is a perfect example of parents working in partnership with the school. Its has shown the school community how wonderfultechnology can be."
