Schools pilot pupil conferences

Schools in Falkirk, South Ayrshire and Renfrewshire are piloting pupil-led conferencing. Education officers introduced the conferences after visits to New Zealand and Ontario, where the practice is already common. Following a visit to Winnipeg, education officers in Moray have introduced diagnostic assessment in maths, which shows how a pupil solved a maths question.
