This year's Association for Science Education Scotland conference takes place on March 5-7 in Perth. Talks, seminars and visits have been organised to support science courses from 5-14 to Advanced Higher.

Keynote addresses will be given by Professor Wilson Sibbett, chair of the Scottish Science Advisory Committee, and Dr Jack Jackson of HM Inspectorate of Education.

Seminars include sessions on the critical skills programme, interactive whiteboards, whiz bang activities for primary science, physics for the non-specialist, the SQA chemistry review and the national Improving Science Education 5-14 programme.

Books, publications, apparatus and technology to support science teaching will be on display. Applications must be in by February 14.
