London's Museums of Health and Medicine are running special children's events during Museums Week, May 17-25. These include: "Murder Most Foul: Famous Deaths from Plant Poisonings" guided tour, May 19, 2pm at Chelsea Physic Garden (tel: 0171 352 5646); "Making Medicines" tour and demonstration, May 20 and 22, at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (tel: 0171 735 9141 ext 354);

and "A Victorian Amputation" demonstration and lecture, May 24, 2.30pm and "Cure or Poison? Medical Herbs and Remedies in the 19th Century" lecture, May 25, 2.30pm, at the Old Operating Theatre Museum (tel: 0171 955 4791).
