Sikh boys face ban on turbans

Sikh school boys in France must swap their turbans for hair nets when a new law banning religious apparel in public schools takes effect in September, education minister Francois Fillon said on Monday. Muslim girls can no longer wear headscarves but can wear bandannas in schools that permit them, he said.
