Sir Patrick sends MPs into orbit

Sir Patrick Moore, the veteran TV astronomer, has little time for politicians. Talking about his life before the largest audience of the three-day conference, the octogenarian was asked what he thought about the support today's world leaders had given to space exploration. "I would like to collect all the current leaders, put them in a spacecraft and send them on a one-way flight to Alpha Centauri," he said.
