Global Warming: Focus on the Future.

Travelling exhibitions once meant carting a show from museum to museum. Now museums are increasingly using web sites to bring exhibitions to an audience beyond those willing or able to visit in person.

This global warming web site, developed by the American Museum of Natural History, is built upon an exhibition staged last year at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC and you can take a look online at what is a very slickly presented package showing how global warming is likely to change our planet.

It is very much from a green perspective, urging a change in attitudes to transport and energy use. But the site is filled with information and case studies, which could prompt discussion and become a useful starting point for a debate about industrialisation and the environment.
