Edinburgh Academy's Andrew Noble, who won the Scottish schools' ski championship title in January, has claimed the British title too.

Noble clocked 31.73 seconds at Nevis Range to finish three seconds clear of Kingussie High's Donald Hall. But Hall had the consolation of leading Kingussie High to the boys team title ahead of Whitchurch High.

Erica Taylor, of Millfield School in Street, Somerset, won the girls' title in 33.83 seconds, with Glasgow High's Mhairi MacGregor taking the silver medal and Laura Wood of Aberdeen Grammar finishing third. George Watson's College won the girls' team title.
