Sound of music

18th April 2003 at 01:00
THIS afternoon delegates to the National Union of Teachers' annual conference will be welcomed by the sound of music as they meet in the auditorium at the Harrogate International Centre. Music for Youth, the national charity supported by The TES, has invited seven groups from Yorkshire to perform throughout the Easter weekend. Music will be provided by woodwind, string and jazz quartets, and the Kirklees Music School Brass Octet will entertain guests at the annual dinner.
