Andrew, in Year 11, has a punctuality problem. Having attended the last five minutes of a lesson being observed by an HM inspector, I asked him why he was so late.

"I slept in."

"Then why have you come in at 2pm, when school finishes at 3pm?" I asked.

"I couldn't sleep in any longer."
