Sounds informative

Originally aimed at parents wanting to help their children learn to read with synthetic phonics, this site is now becoming popular with teachers, too. You can listen to examples of phonic sounds, followed by a relevant word, and search for books and resources. There's also a question and answer page tackling queries you have about the teaching method, as well as links to news and opinion pieces from the press and professional bodies.
