Spell it out

Jotter is always keen to alert students to new ways of learning, and we're sure that Glasgow Metropolitan College's 17-week preparation course for Higher English (January-May 2007) will be of benefit to potential candidates.

The "revision of essential writing skills" informs us: "The course will offer candidates the opportunity to study and practice SQA past papers.

Effective exam preparation techniques will be discussed and practiced."

What was that about essential writing skills? A case, we guess, of practice not making perfect.
