Sprint misprint

27th August 2004 at 01:00
On the subject of Tory cock-ups, shadow education secretary Tim Collins issued a press release this week condemning multiple A-level re-sits.

"Olympic athletes do not get a second or third go at the 100 meters (sic) if they don't like the result, and the same logic should apply in education," he said.

Perhaps Mr Collins has political ambitions in the US? Or was he talking about parking meters?
