Staff morale wanes under Coalition

Almost half of teachers have considered leaving the profession in the past year, according to an NASUWT survey carried out to gauge opinion after 12 months of the Coalition. It also found 62 per cent of the 7,000 respondents had considered getting a different teaching job. Almost half said job satisfaction had declined.
