"Have Standards in Mathematics Fallen Over the Last Ten Years?" will be one of conferences sponsored by The Times Educational Supplement at the British Association's Annual Festival of Science, which this year takes place at Newcastle University, September 9-15.

The Festival will bring together leading specialists from across the world to debate the latest scientific and educational issues.
