Steely pupils

NO wonder there is a recruitment crisis.

Last term a steel band turned up outside my classroom door with no warning. Practices run all of Monday and Friday mornings. The noise has led to increased stress and a total lack o pupil concentration.

This enthusiasm for music has made my job impossible for a day a week ... on top of a 62-hour working week and a looming OFSTED inspection.
