Strathclyde University course for primary teachers

Strathclyde University says a new part-time course to train primary teachers has generated "enormous interest". But the 21-month course, seen as a blueprint for improving and diversifying teacher supply, is urrently restricted to candidates from four authorities - Glasgow, North and South Lanarkshire and Stirling - who hold entry qualifications for the full-time postgraduate primary training course.
