He has been drunk and vomited in the garden, he streaked naked through the Big Brother house and now Glyn Wise wants to be a teacher.
The Welsh teenager, who missed his A-levels to be in the reality TV show, told producers he wanted to become a teacher after helping housemates learn Welsh.
Glyn, 18, who was head boy at Ysgol Duffryn Conway in north Wales, said:
"It's shown me that I want a career in teaching once I get out."
UCAC, the Welsh teachers' union, said it would be proud to have Glyn in the profession.
Eryl Owain, its North Wales field officer, was Glyn's form tutor and AS-level history teacher. He said: "We need more young people, especially men, in the teaching profession in Wales and Glyn would fit the bill very well."
Mr Owain said that Glyn, despite his antics on the Channel 4 show, was still a good role model.
"Getting drunk and being sick and a bit silly is normal behaviour for most young people. It's part of growing up," he said. "Unfortunately for Glyn, it's all been shown on live TV.
"He has so many positive aspects, though. He is very popular with young people in Wales and has strengthened their affinity to the language. It doesn't surprise me he wants to teach."
Glyn, a finalist in the show, was due to sit A-levels in art, English and Welsh this summer. Mr Owain said he could still go to university in the autumn with UCAS points accrued from AS-levels, coursework and modular exams.
A Department for Education and Skills spokesman acknowledged Big Brother reached a wide audience of teenagers, who could wish to follow Glyn's example.
