Strike planned

Lecturers are due to strike on Monday in all 16 further education colleges in Northern Ireland as the University and College Union presses the case for its members to be paid the same as school teachers.

Lecturers claim they are an average of pound;3,421 adrift.

It will be the sixth day of strike action.
