Students as suspects

The prospect of police officers pursuing suspects on campus may be the stuff of public relations nightmares, but it is all part of a new training initiative at Solihull College. The college is working with West Midlands Police to provide trainee officers with training scanarios using students acting as suspects. In return, students on the Public Services and Access to the Police courses hear from frontline officers about a career in the police.
