What do you do?

Retired teacher, frustrated writer, freelance agitator.

What's the best thing we've done?

Hold education quangos to account. Coverage of the Glow saga was quite fair and balanced. I liked the feature detailing council education cuts.

Who would you like to see writing in TESS?

More from Stephen Heppell and John Davitt. An anonymous column for a weekly rant from the chalkface.

What would you be excited to see on the front page?

"SQA scraps annual exams diet in favour of online assessment on demand"; "HMIE decides against merger - Government scraps LTS"; "Government education advisory bodies to include real teachers for a change".

What is TESS?

A window on Scottish education. Up-to-date forum comment from real teachers, and all jobs in one place. An ever-present in era of educational change.
