Penyrheol Comprehensive School in Swansea has won the Mock Trial Competition UK final in Leeds Magistrates' Court
Penyrheol Comprehensive School in Swansea has won the Mock Trial Competition UK final in Leeds Magistrates' Court. The 14-strong team of Year 8 and 9 pupils played out a real-life trial on two cases involving harassment and drink-driving. As well as a shield, the team won pound;500 worth of resources, much needed after books and computer equipment were fire-damaged after an arson attack two years ago.
