Switch on to a music career

A digital television channel was launched this week to encourage aspiring musicians. M-Channel will provide tuition and advice on all musical genres, interspersed with popular music videos. The first programmes will focus on vocals and playing the guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and harmonica.

Percussionist Evelyn Glennie, classical pianist Freddy Kempf and Soweto Kinch, the Mercury Award-winning jazz saxophonist and rapper, will feature.
