Craig Howieson (of James Gillespie's HS, Edinburgh) won the junior boys' title at the North of Scotland Table Tennis Open in Aberdeen but failed to emulate his achievement last year when he won his first Scottish senior title. Competition in the senior event was exceptionally tough. Welsh international Ryan Jenkins won, ahead of Perth's Gavin Rumgay, who plays professionally in Sweden.
