Tackling the bullies

7th January 2005 at 00:00
Following the success of their youth site www.need2know.co.uk, Cimex has added a microsite to help tackle bullying in schools. Beat Bullying contains real-life accounts from children who have been victims of bullying, children who have witnessed bullying and those who have bullied others. It also has advice on how to identify bullying, what action to take if you are the bully, the victim or a third party and suggestions on whom to talk to. As part of a campaign against bullying, many role models are wearing a blue wrist band. A link from the Beat Bullying page takes you to the Radio One website where these can be ordered for free. www.need2know.co.ukbeatbullying
