Take One Picture

29th April 2005 at 01:00
Until July 4

This exhibition of work by eight primary schools inspired by Degas' "Beach Scene" is on display at the National Gallery's Education Centre, Trafalgar Square, London WC2. The Take One Picture scheme, now in its 10th year, encourages children to work together in groups. Their teachers find out about the selected painting and obtain free resources online or at the gallery's continuing professional development courses. The exhibition features artwork, ceramics, sculpture, music and video re-enactments of Degas's painting.
