TI-IF concerns about the trainee- teacher tests raised in your article are consistent with the responses we have had from teacher-training providers, whom we have inter- viewed as part of a study of the impact of these tests.

We would be pleased to hear from other training providers, stu- dents and headteachers about their experiences.
