Plastic toothbrushes and teddy-bear fur are among the inventions examined in a new science and technology website. Making the modern world, run by the Science Museum, uses images, animation and interactive elements to highlight the history and role of a range of modern inventions. The site, intended for AS and A-level students, also offers learning modules to support science, history and geography courses.
