A national tennis award has been won by a school with a roll of only 26 pupils. Towie Primary in Glenkindie, Aberdeenshire, which has a tennis court painted on the playground, has been named School of the Year by Tennis Scotland, the game's governing body. All the pupils took part in an 18-week block of training under local tennis coach Vikki Paterson, practising at break times, and they continue to build up their skills.
