TES bank that always says yes

28th April 2006 at 01:00
We always knew that teachers were both creative and generous, and now we have further proof. The TES Resource Bank opened for business a little over a fortnight ago, and teachers have already uploaded almost 500 items for others to use. The majority are materials made by teachers for classroom use, and they are all free. We are not altogether surprised by the volume of traffic. The Resource Bank offers a formal, curriculum-shaped framework for the sharing activity that has flourished in our forums over several years. We also always knew that teachers were hungry for practical resources, and again the Resource Bank confirms this view. There were 22,000 downloads in the first 10 days of this service being online.

If you want to help make the bank - or even if you want to try to break the bank - follow the crowds to tes.co.ukresources. Do let us know what you think.
