TES helps learning go global

NEWS International, publishers of The TES, have joined up with 21 Scottish universities and colleges to promote worldwide distance learning.

Worldwide Learning Limited is set to pay pound;3.54 million for a 25 per cent stake in cottish Knowledge, a distance-learning group founded by the Scottish higher education sector, as part of a deal to use News Corporation's satellite, Internet and other media outlets to market courses across the world.
