Described by the British Film Institute as "the essential film annual", this year's edition includes interviews with Quentin Tarantino, animator Ray Harryhausen and film photographer Freddie Young, responsible for photography in such Sixties epics as 'Lawrence of Arabia' and 'Doctor Zhivago' (above), where he had to make the film's location of a Spanish summer feel like the depths of a Russian winter
