Tesco SchoolNet 2000

17th March 2000 at 00:00
Tesco will be showing its new website (www.tesco.schoolnet2000.com), which is designed to fulfill curriculum requirements and support government educational initiatives, including the National Grid for Learning. Since September 1998 more than 15,800 schools and 130,000 children have contributed to what Tesco terms "the world's biggest schools Internet project ever". Usin their own words, drawings and photographs, students have investigated their communities in the past and present and described how they see the future. There will also be information about Tesco's Computers for Schools 2000 scheme which is running until April 9 - that means your school still has time to collect vouchers and claim for equipment.
