You must have seen the latest teacher training ad campaign - the one backed by the slogan Use your head - Teach and featuring scarily headless young professionals yearning for a more socially aware job. Well, here's the rationale behind the ad concept, just in case you were wondering. The Teacher Training Agency claims it's a wakeup call to graduates whose jobs just don't give them the kind of creative and intellectual challenge they would find in a classroom. By the way, the campaign costs around pound;12 million a yearu that's enough to pay the salaries of at least 650 new teachers
