Third suspension in abuse inquiry;News in Brief

A third member of staff at Donaldson's School for the Deaf in Edinburgh has been suspended following police inquiries into allegations of abuse. David Scott, the principal, was suspended last month following claims of non-sexual abuse by a teenage pupil, and a second staff member was suspended two weeks ago. An inspectors report on the school, which prompted the investigations, is due next month.
