Thousands more to gain access to Bac

The Welsh Baccalaureate is to be rolled out to a further 53 schools, FE colleges and training providers from September, it was announced this week. It means the vocationally led qualification, which is unique to Wales and complements GCSEs and A-levels, will be available to an extra 7,500 students, bringing the total to 70,000.
