Threshold rub

Pupils are being asked to sit extra tests to help their teachers earn the pound;2,000 threshold payment, according to executive member Geronwy Jones. He warned conference: "We have to accept teacher are putting pressure on themselves by wanting optional tests to make sure they have evidence to meet the threshold targets of pupil progress. This is totally wrong and unnecessary."
