Tick for global good

28th October 2005 at 01:00
We Are What We Do aims to inspire people to do things that can make an impact on the world. The site has listed 50 actions that can improve our health and environment, such as not using plastic bags, reading a story with a child, taking public transport and spending time with someone from a different generation. Every time you achieve one of the actions you can tick it on the website. To mark its first birthday, the website has been relaunched, enabling users to sign up for a personal actions tracker. This tracks individual actions to see what impact they are making on the global total. There is also an interactive news board, a downloadable lesson plan for secondary schools and suggestions from people all over the world.
