Looking for a document from the 12th century? Access to Archives provides a free online search engine to point you in the right direction. It allows you to search more than 340 record offices in England for information dating from the 900s to present day. Although you cannot view the documents online, the search results give the necessary details so that you can arrange to view or obtain copies.
