Time for an update

17th September 2004 at 01:00
Following the success of the Science Museum's "Making the Modern World" exhibition, it has created a website looking at science and invention from the 18th century to today. Using an interactive timeline, you can choose eras and then their stories. For example, under the heading "Defiant Modernism 1930-1968", there are stories covering the atom, science in war, DNA, advances in aviation and space travel. Photographs, illustrations and biographies are also available, as well as A-level activities and interactive modules covering biology, English, chemistry, geography, history, maths and psychology.
