NEC's School Magic: University Edition is an automatic timetabling system aimed at universities and colleges. It enables lecturers to enter their schedules, classroom and other details (such as schedules for support staff and equipment availability) using a personal computer. Ten minutes later School Magic will produce a timetable, taking into account restraints. NEC Europe, tel 0171 353 4383.
