Tips on how to pass A-level

The Association for the Teaching of Social Sciences is running a conference for sociology A-level and access course students at Leicester University on March 19, fee Pounds 7. Speakers include Professor Ruth Lester on poverty today and Pauline Kendall, AEB senior examiner, on how to pass your A-level exam. Details: Jenny Martin, tel: 01162 717138.

Secondary and FE teachers of social sciences are invited to the ATSS annual teachers' conference at Hertford Campus, Hertfordshire University, on September 5-7.
