Teachers need nap time

Napping is not age related. You need quiet me time when you get home after a long day of lining up pupils, collecting exercise books, counting in worksheets, stopping disagreements, seeking out pencils, emphasising points, detailing and repeating and breaking up arguments. Your brain has been a racetrack all day, so now is your time for a pit stop. Put your feet up, have a snack, a herbal tea or something stronger and cuddle the cat or your significant other.

Be inventive and don't feel guilty.
