Over to a secondary in Wisconsin, featured at the junk food conference in the capital last week. Following the "furore" on this side of the pond over school exclusions, there was a certain degree of sympathy with the principal from the United States.

She has to report annually on drop-out rates, suspensions and drug-taking - as well as suicides and weapons. Now that's what you call target-setting.

And we think we've got problems.
