From Twitter

Last week's TESS feature, "The unstoppable rise of Teach For All", generated heated debate in the education Twittersphere. Supporters and opponents of the UK model, Teach First, and its US equivalent, Teach For America, were keen to have their say.

I was once a bubbly, happy- go-lucky girl until I began the hardest phase of my life as a Teach For America teacher in Houston, Texas.

I have worked with 6 #TeachFirst teachers in my dept - 5 are still teaching amp; doing a fantastic job.

An insult to excellent long-serving colleagues loyal to their communities. #teachfirst

We have a #teachfirst young man at our school and he is lovely and v appreciative of support from experience.

What's Teach For America using to inspire inner-city students to succeed? Riding off into the sunset.
