Your leader on the recruitment of teachers prompts a statement and a question.

Surely the best recruiting officers of any profession are those working within it.

What advice therefore are teachers giving to their own children and their students at school about joining the profession?

The Government can play around with recruitment strategies as much as it wants, but until it convinces really convinces teachers that they are valued and valuable then teachers themselves will continue to discourage recruitment.
