University enterprise centres;Conference briefs;British Association festival of science

THE Government is setting up eight centres of enterprise at English and Scottish universities to develop research findings and ideas into commercial products.

The centres will be based at the universities of Bristol; Cambridge; Glasgow; Imperial College; the London Business School (with University College London); UMIST; Nottingham; and Sheffield.
